I have a confession to make…I just bought a Miley Cyrus record!!  I KNOW, I KNOW!!!  I can’t help it.  Her songs are just SO catchy (”movin my hips like yeah…”) I can’t get that song out of my head.  It’s cool though.  We need some good new road music.  So, we drove 33 hours this past week, from Ontario, CA to Atlanta, GA.  Whew!!!  But we made it, not only safely but with enough time to get the RV serviced.  Remember the video from a couple months back titled “ADVENTURES IN WATER PUMP LAND”?  Well, after two months on the road, we’ve finally gotten it fixed!!  We can cook, wash our hands, shower, and go number 1, all in the comfort of our fully functional system.  We also got the ladder fixed…again…and got the fridge looked at.  We’re rip-roarin’ and ready to go.  We decided to stay in Gainesville, GA (my hometown) for a few days before heading to Orlando and make some headway on a big Hoops of Hope event at Thanksgiving.  We’re super excited and we’ve got a lot of people on board.

Let’s see, what else?  We’ve gotten to spend some time with our pumpkin (the dog). She’s hanging out with my parents while we’re on the road.  She’s sweet and she slays me with her begging face!

So I’m reading Francine Rivers “Mark of the Lion” series.  I’m 2/3 way through the second book and it’s pretty fantastic!  I don’t read a lot of Christian fiction and I’m pretty selective about the Christian fiction I do read.  I must say, I love you, Francine.  You write motivation so well.  I’m thoroughly enjoying the characters and can’t wait to see how it ends.
